We built the job board ECE deserves.
Early childhood educators are among the most important professionals in the country. They shape how children learn to think, trust, and grow - and they do it under-resourced, underpaid, and underappreciated. The last thing they need is another barrier between them and a good job.
So when Indeed started charging employers fees that made posting ECE jobs economically unreasonable, we felt the sting directly. Smaller programs - Head Start sites, family child care networks, community-based centers - couldn't absorb those costs. Postings disappeared. Candidates couldn't find openings that existed. It was a quiet crisis nobody was talking about.
We decided to do something about it.
Who we are
We're the team behind Acquire4Hire, an applicant tracking system we've been building and running since 2018. Over 6,500 early childhood educators have moved through our platform. We know this space - the role types, the credential requirements, the funding constraints, the way hiring actually works at a center versus a school-based PreK versus a Head Start program.
ECEJobs.org is built on that foundation. Not a pivot. Not a side project from people who Googled "ECE jobs." A purpose-built tool from a team that has been in the room with these employers and candidates for years.
What we believe
- ECE employers shouldn't have to compete with corporate job budgets to reach qualified candidates.
- Educators shouldn't have to wade through irrelevant listings to find roles that match their credentials and setting preferences.
- A job board for ECE should understand ECE - age groups, credential types, program settings, the difference between a Floater and a Site Coordinator.
- Trust is earned by being useful, not by plastering a mission statement on a homepage.
How it works
ECEJobs.org is exclusively for early childhood education. Every listing comes directly from an employer - no scraped postings, no stale aggregated content. When you apply, your application goes straight to the hiring organization through the same ATS infrastructure that's been reliably handling ECE hiring since 2018.
