Sand Box Child Care & Preschool has been serving the greater Medford community for nearly
50 years; we meet a critical child care need in a small, rural community. We seek to promote an inclusive, collaborative staff culture; where teamwork and creativity are encouraged at all times.
Sand Box Child Care & Preschool works to provide quality child care and learning experiences for children in a safe and caring environment, helping them develop socially, creatively, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Classrooms are designed to promote hands-on; experiential learning. The center itself sits on nearly 3 acres of property, primarily surrounded by woods. This provides ample outdoor space for activities year round in our fenced in play-yard.
We are a non-profit organization whose operation is overseen by a board of directors. The board of directors is deeply committed to seeing Sand Box Child Care & Preschool serve the community for years to come. Members include retired educators, parents and grandparents of children enrolled, and community members who believe in its mission.
