This Co-Teacher (2-3 year olds) opportunity at The Peninsula Academy serves Infant / Toddler (0–2), Preschool (3–5) and requires no formal credential — just relevant experience. Based in Yorktown, VA, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.
A co-teacher is responsible for the care of and well-being of 16 children ages 2-5. Co-teacher's are paired with another co-teacher making our highest ratio 1:8.

What You'll Do
A co-teacher is responsible for lesson planning, conducting meaningful interactions with the children, classroom management, keeping a tidy classroom, communicating with families, ensuring the safety of all children, and helping to create a positive and happy environment.
Requirements
Eighteen years of age and high school degree. Experience preferred but not mandatory.
Nice to Have
CDA in early childhood education, Associates in early childhood education, Bachelor's in early childhood education, CPR/First Aid certification
