About This Role

This Teachers' Aide/Floater opportunity at Mt. Washington Baptist Daycare serves Mixed / All Ages and requires a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred. Based in Cincinnati, OH, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.


We're seeking enthusiastic team members to join our growing Mt. Washington Baptist Daycare family. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, mission-driven, reliable, and flexible, available Monday through Friday from 10am to 6 pm.

What You'll Do

  • Help maintain and clean and functional classrooms
  • Assisting teachers for the day
  • Supervise children assigned to their care for the day
  • Effectively communicate with parents and co-workers as needed
  • Assisted in closing down classrooms for the day (taking out garbage, disinfecting toys, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be willing to take and maintain state-mandated training
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Be comfortable working with varying age groups (Infants - School-Age)

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of SUTQ (Step Up To Quality) is a plus
  • 1 year experience working in the Early Childhood Education Field
