Well established private Montessori school seeking an Assistant Guide for our toddler classrooms. The age group is 14-36 months of age. The right candidate will be responsible, respectful, a team player, reliable, patient, kind, love the outdoors, and flexible to work in different programs when needed.

What You'll Do
Getting snack ready, taking the children outside and engaging with them in gross motor play, assisting during the morning work cycle to ensure that all work being done is meaningful and that the children are redirected, peacefully and respectfully, when necessary. Helping to get lunches unpacked and ready for eating, assisting children to fall asleep during nap time and then helping them, as they awaken, to get their bearings and get ready for more outdoor gross motor and the afternoon work cycle. We love doing arts and crafts with our students, so be ready to get a little messy!
Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED).
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to learn the Montessori methodology.
Must be able to work as a team and well with others.
Must be a good communicator.
Must be dependable.
Must be responsible and respectful.
Must enjoy working with children.
Nice to Have
Childcare experience.
Montessori teaching experience.
