About This Role

What You'll Do
- Establish a nurturing classroom environment that fosters children's cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each child at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all children.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with staff to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Provide daily care and supervision to children, including personal hygiene and snack/lunchtime routines.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
- Experience caring for children
- Vermont Early Childhood career ladder Level three
- At least 20 years old
- Associate degree in related field (early childhood, human services, etc.)
- 21 college credits in related field and 12 months experience
