About This Role

This Teacher Assistant opportunity at Bridgewater Learning Center serves Mixed / All Ages and requires a willingness to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, with employer support. Based in Hamilton, OH, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.


Bridgewater Learning Center is growing, and we are looking for self-motivated, mission-driven, reliable, and flexible individuals to join our team. We seek a floater Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

  • Assisting teachers for the day
  • Assisted in closing down classrooms for the day (taking out garbage, disinfecting toys, etc.)
  • Help maintain and clean and functional classroom
  • Supervise children assigned to their care for the day
  • Effectively communicate with parents and co-workers as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be willing to take and maintain state-mandated training
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Be comfortable working with varying age groups (Infants - PreK)
  • Must be active in the Christian faith

Nice to Have

  • 1 year experience working in the Early Childhood Education Field
  • Knowledge of SUTQ (Step Up To Quality) is a plus
