What You'll Do

The Afternoon Teacher's Aide must demonstrate competency to:

  • build positive relationships with children and families
  • support children with and without disabilities
  • respond to the emotional and developmental needs of young children
  • play and engage with children
  • work cooperatively and professionally with staff members
  • follow routines and guidelines as outlined by state licensing procedures

Requirements

  • a highschool diploma and experience working in a classroom setting.
  • maintain CPR and First Aid certifications and professional development requirements.
