What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, and play areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelves, windows, and furniture to create a clean and inviting atmosphere.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly to support our eco-friendly initiatives.
- Clean and disinfect toys and learning materials regularly to prevent the spread of germs.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing and folding linens and cloths used within the facility.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team in a timely manner.
Requirements
Requirements
- Prior experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a child care or educational setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of cleaning supplies and proper sanitization techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move cleaning equipment as needed.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management.
- A valid background check and certification in child safety are required.
