About This Role
YaYa's Yuniversity is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infant/Toddler Teacher to join the team. The ideal candidate is passionate about nurturing, educating, and supporting the growth and development of young scholars.
What You'll Do
- Supervise scholars and provide a safe and caring learning environment at all times
- Create weekly lesson plans
- Observe, document, and evaluate scholar's progress
- Communicate effectively with families through Brightwheel
- Establish and enforce positive behavioral expectations
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including hands on activities, storytelling, and creative expression
- Assist with basic needs, such as diapering and hygiene
- Prepare and organize mealtimes
- Attend professional development workshops (at least 30 ECE hours per year)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Center base experience working with toddlers
- A team-orientated player with a positive, professional attitude
Nice to Have
- A relevant degree or certificate in early childhood education or related field is often preferred
