About This Role
We need an energetic and caring After School Teacher to join our team in Lithia Springs, GA. You will guide children through fun activities, help with homework, and provide a safe, positive environment after school hours.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and engage students in safe, fun afternoon activities
- Assist children with homework and learning tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space
- Communicate clearly and kindly with parents and staff
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to get certified
Nice to Have
- Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Previous experience in an licensed after-school program
- Bilingual communication skills
