About This Role

  • Huntingdon First Baptist Church WEE Care Ministry is looking for a teacher in our preschool and/or infant classes.
  • Monday through Friday 8 hours per day.
  • A basic love for children and a commitment to teaching are essential.
  • Physical stamina to keep up with active children is a must.

What You'll Do

  • You will help provide and maintain a Christian environment in which the children may grow physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
  • You will give each child the attention needed to assure his best welfare (This relates to eating, toileting, sleeping, and playing).
  • You will work with other teachers to ensure a clean and orderly room.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications: a high school diploma or GED.
  • Additional education and/or experience in the childcare field is desirable.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the childcare setting.
  • Additional training.
