About This Role
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and caring Kitchen Cook to join our BPK team!
This position is responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks for our children each day while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks
- Following menus and appropriate food portions
- Maintaining accurate information regarding children's food allergies and dietary restrictions
- Receiving, organizing, and putting away grocery deliveries
- Keeping track of food and kitchen inventory
- Preparing grocery and supply shopping lists
- Keeping the kitchen, food-preparation areas, and equipment clean and sanitized
- Properly storing, labeling, and rotating food
- Working closely with teachers and administration regarding meal counts and children's dietary needs
- Following all health, sanitation, and child care food-service requirements
We are looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated, organized, clean, and comfortable preparing meals for groups of young children. Experience in food service, school/daycare kitchens, or meal preparation is a plus.
Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours | No Weekends

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge and experience in the kitchen
