Position: Floater

The Floater will assist teachers and support daily classroom operations throughout the center. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and can adapt quickly to the needs of different classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
• Provide coverage for teachers during breaks and absences
• Help supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment
• Assist with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, and other daily care as needed
• Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classrooms
• Follow all center policies and childcare safety procedures
• Work cooperatively with teachers, staff, children, and families
• Be flexible and willing to assist wherever needed

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, responsible, and punctual
• Enjoys working with children
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Able to follow directions and maintain a safe environment
• Previous childcare experience preferred
• Must meet applicable childcare licensing requirements
