What You'll Do

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for preschool or toddler age groups
• Support classroom management and behavior guidance to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities
• Support classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining cleanliness throughout the day
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and participating in staff meetings

Requirements

Skills & Job Requirements

• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages
• Experience with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques
• Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers and preschoolers
• Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
• Ability to adapt lesson plans for children with diverse learning styles and needs.
• Ability to work in an ever changing, fast paced environment
• Able to lift more than 25 pounds as well as lower self to be eye-level with children
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Credits in Early Childhood Education preferred but not require
• First & CPR Certification within 90 days of hire
• Pro-Solutions Health & Safety Trainings (online) within 90 days of hire
• Complete background check with fingerprints upon hire offer
