Toddler Childcare Teacher

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

• Provide close supervision and dependable care for toddlers
• Assist children with meals, snacks, naps, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Introduce age-appropriate activities involving books, music, art, movement, and creative play
• Encourage toddlers to communicate and interact positively with their peers
• Support children as they develop independence and self-help skills
• Provide positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior support
• Observe children's interests, participation, and developmental progress
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and engaging classroom
• Complete required daily records and classroom documentation
• Communicate relevant information with parents and guardians
• Keep classroom materials and activity areas organized
• Follow childcare center policies and applicable health and safety requirements
• Work effectively with other classroom staff

Requirements

Qualifications

• CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous toddler childcare teaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
