Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to create a classroom experience that encourages young children to ask questions, explore new ideas, and develop important foundational skills.
The right candidate will bring creativity and organization to daily activities while providing children with appropriate structure and positive guidance.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Prepare and lead engaging activities designed for preschool-aged children
- Use storytelling, creative projects, music, games, and hands-on activities to support learning
- Help children develop early literacy, math, language, and problem-solving abilities
- Encourage participation, curiosity, cooperation, and independence
- Establish predictable classroom routines and expectations
- Maintain active supervision and prioritize children's safety
- Promote positive behavior and respectful interactions
- Observe children's development and participation throughout the day
- Keep classroom resources and learning areas organized
- Complete required records and developmental observations
- Communicate appropriately with parents and guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and childcare staff
- Follow applicable childcare, health, safety, and licensing requirements
Requirements
Qualifications
- CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous preschool teaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
