About This Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time 4K Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Beaver Dam, WI. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of four-year-old children. This position is ideal for an educator who thrives on sparking curiosity and preparing young learners for their transition into kindergarten.
4K class runs Monday - Thursday from 8:30a - 11:30a. Class max size is 10 kids.
What You'll Do
- Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily activities.
- Provide a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Assess and monitor student progress to adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and development.
- Collaborate with school staff and administrators to support program goals.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license for early childhood.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Nice to Have
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and inclusive classrooms.
- Familiarity with local Beaver Dam community resources and school district standards.
