Do you enjoy teaching young children and helping them discover new things?
Stepping Stones Early Learning Academy is looking for a Preschool Teacher who enjoys helping children learn through play, hands-on activities, and everyday experiences.
We provide classroom training, teaching materials, and support to help our teachers plan activities and manage their classrooms. Our teachers work together, share ideas, and help children become more confident and independent.
We're looking for someone who enjoys teaching, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn and try new ideas. Previous experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person.
What You'll Do
- Plan and lead fun learning activities for young children.
- Set up learning centers that encourage play and discovery.
- Help children build social, language, and thinking skills.
- Watch and record children's learning and progress.
- Keep the classroom clean, safe, and organized.
- Share updates with families about their child's day and progress.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must meet Georgia DECAL background check and employment requirements.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Able to manage daily classroom routines.
- Able to communicate clearly and work well with others.
- Willing to learn and take part in training.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with preschool-aged children.
- CDA, TCC, or degree in early childhood education.
- Knowledge of Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).
- Experience planning classroom activities.
- Experience using Brightwheel.
