Lead Teacher
About This Role
Location: Marietta, GA
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lead Teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, support children’s growth, and lead classroom staff in maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities.
- Support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Guide and supervise assistant teachers.
- Communicate with parents about children’s progress.
- Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, records, and compliance with state regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience.
- TCC, CDA, or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with at least 30 ECE credits.
- Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must pass required background checks and health screening.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and meet classroom physical requirements.
