MY LITTLE BLESSINGS PRESCHOOL-DAYCARE in Bloomington, IN is seeking a qualified Preschool Teacher to work with Mixed / All Ages in a family child care environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.
My Little Blessings employs candidates that are passionate about children and learning. We have indoor and outdoor learning centers where children learn from real world experiences. We grow our own food, tend to our animals and learn all the skills necessary for kindergarten readiness while participating in fun, play-based learning opportunities. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic and energetic to join our team!

What You'll Do
Contributes to child learning, growth, and advancement. Displays a passion for developing preschool-age appropriate educational activities and practice. Maintains a positive mindset toward child learning and social-emotional development. Works efficiently within existing learning structures and believes in the capability of children to excel. Facilitates problem-solving. Serves as a role-model to child learners. Invests in the students well-being, health, and safety. Demonstrates ability to learn and convey a variety of subject matters quickly. Manages small and large groups of students in a classroom environment and communicates effectively with students, including on potentially sensitive topics. Adheres to school processes and protocols.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, CDA or degree in early education.
- Experience and Passion for teaching small children.
- Knowledge of instructional methods appropriate for preschool-aged children with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational and developmental goals.
- Familiarity with multiple toddler learning areas.
- Ability to organize tasks and manage time to meet many and varied deadlines.
- Working familiarity with assistive technology; internet; and email systems; and word processing.
- Ability to follow licensing rules as well as other program rules.
Nice to Have
Early Education Degree or CDA
Experience in a professional, licensed preschool setting
