What You'll Do

Some responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and implement the Creative Curriculum (after completing the curriculum training)
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children
• Maintain accurate records, forms and files
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience in a classroom
• Able to communicate orally and in written form in English as well as basic computer skills
• Ability to work well with others and to foster a team environment
• A basic understanding of early child development with the willingness to continue learning
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification - recertification paid for bi-annually
• Must clear full background check and pass health screening
• Ability to lift approximately 10-40 pounds is needed when caring for a child
• The ability to sit, stand, squat, walk for extended time outdoors...being able to communicate and work with children at eye level no matter what position that might entail.

Nice to Have

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or working on a degree in the field
