Ages & Stages in Hampstead, NH is seeking a qualified Teacher Assistant to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2), Preschool (3–5) in a center-based environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

What You'll Do
- Assist teachers and caregivers in supervising and engaging children in various activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games.
- Keep children safe, clean, and fulfilled
- Provide patient and compassionate assistance as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
- Demonstrate positive role modeling, kindness, and empathy while interacting with children.
Requirements
- Willing to work afternoons 3-5 Monday through Friday, but all are not required
- 15 years of age or older
- Must be willing to be fingerprinted and pass a background check (all expenses paid)
- Genuine passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Must be willing to complete Professional Development hours, CPR, and First Aid certification (all expenses paid)
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working with children is a plus, but not required
- Prior experience working in a daycare center is a plus, but not required
- Prior CPR and First Aid certification, but not required
