About This Role

We are searching for an enthusiastic and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of child development principles, be skilled at designing and implementing tailored lesson plans, and create a supportive classroom environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth in toddlers aged 1 to 3 years.

What You'll Do

Develop and implement interactive, age-specific lesson plans that support language, motor skills, social-emotional development, and cognitive growth.
Establish a warm and inclusive environment that promotes safety, respect, and positive relationships among children and staff.
Maintain a well-organized, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families regarding children’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
Closely observe and document each child’s growth, development, and behavior.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to create a cohesive and engaging learning environment.
Supervise toddlers during play, meals, naptime, and transitions, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards at all times.
Attend required training sessions, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Prefer Minimum of 1 year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is a plus.
Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, energetic, and able to adapt to the dynamic needs of young children.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
