Preschool Teacher

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for preschool-aged children
• Create a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom environment
• Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
• Support children's language, social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, cooperation, and independence
• Establish and maintain daily classroom routines
• Monitor children's progress and developmental needs
• Communicate professionally with parents and guardians
• Maintain classroom records and documentation
• Promote positive behavior through age-appropriate guidance
• Follow childcare center policies, safety procedures, and licensing requirements
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and childcare staff

Requirements

Qualifications

• CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous preschool teaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
