Preschool Teacher

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead activities appropriate for preschool-aged children
• Incorporate storytelling, crafts, music, games, and hands-on learning
• Encourage early reading, counting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Help children practice cooperation, sharing, and respectful communication
• Establish classroom routines that promote confidence and independence
• Supervise children and maintain a safe learning environment
• Recognize individual interests, strengths, and areas where children may need additional support
• Use constructive approaches to encourage positive classroom behavior
• Maintain organized learning materials and classroom spaces
• Document observations and other required classroom information
• Communicate appropriately with families about children's experiences
• Collaborate with other childcare professionals
• Comply with center policies and applicable licensing requirements

Requirements

Qualifications

• CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous preschool teaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
