Position Overview
We are seeking a caring, patient, and dependable Toddler Childcare Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for toddlers.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and can support their growing independence, communication, social skills, and early learning.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to toddlers
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom
- Supervise children closely and prioritize their health and safety
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate learning and play activities
- Support toddlers with meals, naps, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Encourage positive social interactions and communication skills
- Help children develop independence and confidence
- Monitor children's behavior, progress, and developmental needs
- Communicate professionally with parents and guardians
- Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation
- Follow childcare policies, safety procedures, and licensing requirements
- Work effectively with other childcare staff
Requirements
Qualifications
- CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous toddler childcare teaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
