What You'll Do
Duties and Expectations
- Develop a deep understanding of our wide selection of floors, including benefits and warranties
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every interaction
- Sell flooring and floor care products, working closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Write sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and support a positive team environment
- Build strong relationships with clients, following up on requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize computer databases to research merchandise availability and process orders
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom, showcasing our products in the best possible light
- Prospect for new business opportunities, expanding our customer base and driving sales growth
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be:
- Able to effectively communicate and possess basic math skills
- Willing to undergo our extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert
- Reliable and a self-starter
- Personally well-organized
- Able to provide outstanding customer service and follow up

Some additional qualifications include:
- A clean driving record
- A passion for, or experience with, decorating or design
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs and a willingness to learn our operating systems
- Retail sales experience strongly preferred
- Open and flexible work availability, including Saturdays
- Must have access to reliable transportation in order to get to work
