We're seeking a dedicated childcare assistant to join our in-home daycare team in Alexandria, VA.

What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional care for children aged birth-3 years, including diaper changes and potty training
- Prepare nutritious meals for infants and toddlers, and assist during mealtime
- Maintain a clean and safe environment after meals, including washing dishes and sanitizing toys
- Care for multiple children simultaneously
- Contribute to weekly learning plans and creative activities
- Prior childcare experience is essential
- Upon hiring, complete 16 hours of state-mandated training
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strict requirement
- A background check will be conducted
- We require three professional references
- Candidates must be paid through a payroll company
- Hours needed 8AM-5:30PM
Nice to Have
- First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable at the time of hire
- Mat training is an added bonus
