INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER

What You'll Do

• Monitoring/supervising children who are placed in your care.
• Providing daily learning opportunities for infants and toddlers.
• Ensuring that the classroom is kept clean.
• Providing food and snacks for children at appropriate snack and mealtimes.
• Providing positive guidance and redirection.
• Administering first aid to children at the occurrence of any injury
• Keeping children clean. Changing soiled diapers and clothes.
• Introducing children to new, age-appropriate activities and materials
• Sanitizing all toys and play areas after use.

Requirements

• Must undergo all necessary childcare trainings. Experience is preferred but not required. Must be trainable and ready to learn.
• Great communication skills a must
• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

CPR/Pediatric 1st Aid preferred.

Early Education education/experience preferred but not required.
