This support staff member position at Buford Children's Academy in Buford offers $13 – $15/Day. The role requires a willingness to earn a CDA, with full program support provided.
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for all aspects of the care and education for the children enrolled in his/her class. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: lesson plans, age appropriate activities, implementing Quality Rated rules and regulations, physical caregiver, developmental assessments, following an age appropriate curricular plan, maintaining a clean, safe, and structured classroom environment.

Requirements
- Must have the ability to relate positively with children, parents, and co-workers
- Maintain a professional attitude and work behavior.
- Previous teaching or assistant teaching with quality preschool, child care center, or church nursery is preferred.
- Observe and implement all Bright from the Start rules and regulations
- Accept responsibility for necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and have RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION!
- Must meet basic requirements of child care regulatory agency.
