What You'll Do

What You'll Do:

  • Take the lead in shaping the overall learning experience.
  •  Forge strong relationships with both children and their families.
  •  Create a consistently positive, clean, and nurturing space for the children under your care.
  • Creating a classroom schedule that is congruent with Georgia’s Bright from the Start expectations regarding child centered exploration for time spent indoors and outdoors, and allowing access to a wide variety of required interest areas and materials.
  • · The Lead Teacher is responsible for the arrangement of the classroom. The classroom arrangement must meet all licensing and Quality Rated standards.

Requirements

Certification & Education:

  • Georgia Teaching Certification.
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year teaching experience in a Georgia Pre-K classroom.

Training Requirements:

  • Possess CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Pass a Background Check.

Shift:

  • Ability to work 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.
