What You'll Do
- Implement the Creative Curriculum and develop lesson plans tailored to the needs of our students
- Manage a classroom environment that is safe, inclusive, and conducive to learning
- Cultivate strong relationships with families and communicate effectively to ensure a collaborative approach to child development
- Use Conscious Discipline to create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Accommodate the needs of children with behavioral or developmental differences, providing individualized support and care
Requirements
- Has worked in Childcare for more than a year.
- Coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum CDA

- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
- Ability to ask questions and collaborate with others when needing help
- Patience to support children with varying physical and behavioral abilities
- Physical ability to be on their feet most of the day, to meet children at their own level (kneeling, sitting on the floor, etc.), and to lift children up to 35 lbs
- Flexible thinking to lead class when things don’t go as planned
- Ability to track student progress and maintain accurate records
- Other duties as needed
