Early Childhood Floating Teacher
About This Role
Carriage House is hiring a teacher who is able to "float" between our classrooms to join our amazing team! Located in Breckenridge, CO, we are a play based school utilizing the Creative Curriculum, as well as, the Pyramid Plus approach to support social and emotional growth. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young children, love the Colorado mountain lifestyle and are flexible and adaptable to new situations. We care for children ages 8 weeks to 5 years with incredible ratios, a strong team, great pay, and a full benefits package at 30 hours/week.

What You'll Do
- Support implementation of daily lesson plans and care
- Actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth
- Provide for teacher planning time and cover breaks
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
Requirements
- Preferably EC Lead Teacher qualified or hold a Colorado Shines Level 2 credential (or able to obtain within 2 weeks of employment)
- Ability to communicate and work well with others (staff, children, and parents)
- Must clear full background check
- Three day per week work schedule
- Enroll in 2 (fully paid by Carriage House) Early Childhood classes, if needed, within the first year of employment
