Position Summary
As a Behavior Therapist (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at CELECTS Education, you’ll work 1:1 with children to teach communication, social, and life skills using evidence-based ABA strategies. You’ll receive hands-on support from experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who provide ongoing training, feedback, and opportunities for growth.

What You'll Do
- Implement client goals created by a BCBA in each child’s individualized treatment plan to focus on social skills, living skills and academic skills, using a 1:1 teaching format
- Complete data collection and session notes daily to track and show client progress.
- Communicate professionally with client families to provide updates regarding progress
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulations
- Assist with creation of therapy materials
- Attend team meetings and on-going trainings, as necessary
- Other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Registered Behavioral Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, OR the ability to acquire certification within 45 days of hire date.(training provided)
- Prior experience working with children with disabilities is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA practices and adherence to the policies
- Must have the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable spending time on your feet
- Strong written and oral communication along with strong interpersonal skills
Salary dependent on experience and certifications.
