Assistant Early Childhood Educator

What You'll Do

• Help coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
• Help plan individual and group age - appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Help maintain frequent communication with parents through informal and formal discussions, process reports, and parent-teacher conference.
• Ensure all center policies & state regulations are met.
• Help ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
• Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement .

Requirements

• Pre-Service Training
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• First Aid
• High School diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Computer skills
• Teacher training
