Two-Three Teacher

What You'll Do

• Interacting with children at their level which can include; the floor, table, or outside. 
• Lesson planning weekly for lead teachers (if co lead teachers can switch off if preferred), themes provided, out of classroom paid time for lesson planning.
• Assist children with their emotions when involving: sharing/ handling not getting their way. 
• Work with a co-teacher if/ when needed. Working with a lead if only assistant certified.
• Follow a check list for daily items that need to be completed such as; wiping down the counter, and sanitizing toys, cleaning out the room.
• Keeping the environment safe and clear of hazards. 
• Knowing whereabouts of all children within care.
• Other tasks if/when needed. 

Requirements

• Assistant or Lead teacher qualifications through Wisconsin Registry. (if do not have, will assist in getting it)
• CPR and First Aid (if do not have, will assist in getting it)
• Shaken Baby/ Abusive Head Trauma/ Mandated Reporter, SIDS training. (if do not have, will assist in getting it)
• Pass a Background Check
• Pass Finger Printing
• Able to get on the floor and interact with the children
• Willing to complete 25 hours of continuing education each year

Nice to Have

• Previous Child care experience but will train the right one.
• Level 6 on the Wisconsin Registry but will assist the right person in getting to that level
