Lead Teacher- Infants
About This Role
We are looking for a dedicated Lead Infant Teacher who is passionate about working with infants and supporting their early development. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow individualized care routines, and a heart for serving children and families.
We are currently hiring for one of the following positions:
- Part-Time: Monday–Friday, 11:45 AM – 5:30 PM
- OR
- Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Classroom placement (Nest or Den) will be determined based on best fit.

What You'll Do
- Provide responsive, nurturing care to infants throughout the day
- Follow individualized feeding, sleeping, and care routines
- Maintain safe sleep practices at all times
- Prepare, label, and handle bottles according to regulations
- Complete daily logs and communication through Brightwheel
- Ensure a clean, sanitary, and organized classroom
- Practice active supervision and maintain proper ratios
- Communicate professionally with families and coworkers
- Follow all Wisconsin DCF 251 regulations and center policies
Requirements
- Must meet Lead Teacher qualifications under Wisconsin DCF 251
- Must be infant teacher qualified (completion of Fundamentals of Infant & Toddler Care)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- CPR & First Aid certified
- Abusive Head Trauma training
- Mandated Reporter training
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong reliability, patience, and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
- Previous infant classroom experience
- Infant/Toddler Credential or Early Childhood Education coursework
- Experience using Brightwheel or similar childcare apps
- Strong communication skills with families
- Passion for working in a faith-based environment
