Early Childhood Teacher - Toddler

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

• Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool-aged children.
• Support the maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement engaging lessons that promote cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, diapering/toileting, and transitions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.

• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or Head Teacher Certificate.
