Aftercare Staff

What You'll Do

Responsibilities: 

1. Follow DSS guidelines as communicated by your supervisor.
2. Ensure attendance Procare check-in and out’s are completed fully for children.
3. Group and manage children on a weekly basis.
4. Alert the Afterschool manager when snacks and materials are needed. 
5. Ensure the building is cleaned and locked, all lights are cut off, and every door is closed at the end of afterschool each day. 
6. Able to attend aftercare staff meetings.
7. Must be able to communicate effectively with parents regarding all aftercare matters.

Requirements

Education:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:  Prior experience in religious instruction, Sunday school teacher, preferred

Skills and Abilities: 

• Good oral communication skills are required.
• The ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with minimal guidance is necessary. 
• Must like to work with children in a Christian setting.
