About the Role
We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a self-motivated, customer-focused individual with a flair for design and a passion for helping people transform their homes and businesses. You will guide customers through their flooring journey, from selection to installation, ensuring an exceptional experience every step of the way.

What You'll Do
- Assist customers in selecting flooring products that meet their needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on flooring features, benefits, and warranties.
- Maintain a clean, organized showroom with up-to-date displays and samples.
- Build relationships with clients and provide outstanding customer service.
- Write accurate sales orders, including installation expectations and payment processing.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and post-installation satisfaction.
- Manage scheduling for in-home measurements and develop personalized product recommendations.
- Engage in community networking to generate new business opportunities.
- Participate in store promotions, events, and product training sessions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
- Sales experience or a background in design or home improvement is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with retail systems is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for in-home visits.
- Flexible availability, including some Saturdays.
