Early Childhood DC - (2) Lead Teachers - PreK

What You'll Do

We're seeking two passionate, dedicated educators to join our team as Full-Time Teachers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead daily lesson plans that meet Arizona Early Learning Standards, ensuring our scholars receive the best possible education.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment at all times, prioritizing student safety and well-being.
• Monitor student progress, document developmental milestones, and provide regular feedback to parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
• Collaborate closely with the Zion Institute leadership team to ensure program compliance and excellence, driving innovation and improvement throughout our organization.

Requirements

• Health: Current TB test results and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; CDA (Child Development Associate) or Associate’s degree in ECE preferred.
• Clearance: Must possess (or be able to obtain) a valid Arizona Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a licensed childcare facility or educational program.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a heart for community-focused education.
