About This Role
Based in Collierville, this support staff member opening at Faith Lutheran Preschool pays $16 – $17/Hr and requires a willingness to earn a CDA, with full program support provided.
This position is for a Teachers Assistant to work Monday-Friday from 9:00-3:00 with out 18 months to 5 year old students during the school year schedule from August to May.

What You'll Do
- Assist in the implementation of curricula activities including instruction of the English language, to foster communication and early literacy development.
- Share classroom teaching responsibilities as determined by mutual planning between you and your teaching partner.
- Help encourage smooth transitions from home to school and back to home.
- Follow center and DHD policies and Procedures.
- Maintain professional development to include 12 hours of yearly training as required by DHS
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and using out Procare communication app.
- Be able to work well with your classroom partner and age group team.
Requirements
- Must be at least a High School graduate and 21 years of age.
- Must be of the Christian Faith
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 4 hours
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Must be a positive team player and work well with others
Nice to Have
- 1-2 years of early childhood experience in a preschool setting
- High energy
- CPR/1st Aid Trained
- Degree or CDA in Early Childhood or a related field
