We're seeking a dynamic and caring Pre-K Teacher to join our team at First Steps Children Learning Center! As a dedicated childcare center, we provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for young children.
Our Schedule
Full time, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

What You'll Do
- Develop and implement engaging lessons that support early childhood education standards.
- Use creative methods to teach core concepts, including artistic expression, storytelling, and free play.
- Plan and lead classroom activities that foster positive social interactions and a love for learning.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes safety and structure.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and development.
- Lead classroom discussions and activities that promote respect, self-esteem, and positive behavior.
- Supervise children during meals, outdoor playtime, and field trips.
- Prepare reports to inform parents about their child's progress.
- Establish a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
Requirements
- Ability to pass background check.
- Reliable and responsible.
- Patience, compassion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to teach using age-appropriate language and learning methods.
- Creative mindset to plan engaging and innovative lessons.
- Strong classroom management and conflict mediation skills.
- Experience working with young children (daycare or preschool preferred).
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).
