About This Role
This GA Pre-K Assistant Teacher opportunity at Gate City Day Nursery Assoc. serves Preschool (3–5) and requires an active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Based in Atlanta, GA, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.
Experience working with children must be dependable, energetic, and nurturing. Qualifications: CDA, Para-Pro, AA, BA/BS Degree, ECE, or related field. You must be able to relate positively with young children, parents, staff and management. Must meet and comply with the requirements of child care regulatory agencies: BFTS, Quality Rated, and NAEYC.
What You'll Do
Teach and work with children 4-5 years old, develop age-appropriate lesson plans to foster growth and development.
Prepare records and reports
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Work cooperatively with Lead Teacher
