What You'll Do
Seeking loving, dependable, and enthusiastic teachers/champions who are passionate about working with toddlers and young children. Our teachers are not only educators but also champions for each child—supporting their growth academically, emotionally, and socially.
Responsibilities
- Encourage early learning in reading, writing, phonics, and recognition of letters, numbers, and colors
- Foster language development through creative reading, phonics activities, and interactive story time
- Support early math skills through counting and hands-on activities
- Engage children in arts, crafts, music, and play-based learning
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
- Assist with light cleaning and occasional errands as needed
- Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child
Qualifications
- A genuine love for children and a nurturing spirit
- Dependable, patient, and committed to the Academy’s mission
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude
- Prior experience in childcare or early education preferred
- Ability to lift children that are 30 - 40 pounds in weight and 3 - 4 feet in height as well as physically play inside and outside in structured and non structural environments.
Requirements
- 2+ to 5 years of experience
- Prefer College Graduate with a degree associated with Teaching
- Some college or currently enrolled in college with a degree associated with Teaching
