We are currently hiring full-time teachers right away!

What You'll Do

  • Plan & Lead Activities: Create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
  • Ensure Safety & Well-Being: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom while following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Daily Care & Routines: Support children with feeding and bottles and diapering while fostering independence.
  • Family Communication: Build strong relationships with families through open, professional communication and bi-annual conferences.
  • Child Development & Assessment: Maintain child portfolios, track milestones, and adjust learning experiences to individual needs.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Follow HighScope, Youngstar, and DCF standards while engaging in ongoing professional development.
  • Team Collaboration & Support: Work closely with co-teachers and assist other classrooms when needed.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Ability to build strong bonds with the children and families
  • Positive, patient, and engaging demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Lead Qualified Teacher
  • Previous experiences in childcare or teaching (preferred)
  • CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)
