Toddler Teacher
About This Role
We are looking for someone to assist their co-teacher in maintaining the learning environment for toddlers that is warm, supportive and nurturing. They must be able to provide consistent, supportive care for the children and their families as well as have a strong understanding of and the ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that addresses the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of the children.
What You'll Do
Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the NH Early Learning Standards
Communicating appropriately and professionally with both parents and co-workers
Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development
Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
Ensuring a well-run classroom by working as a team
Understanding and implementing Health and Safety procedures and abiding by the NH Child Care Licensing Bureau standards and regulations as well as those set forth by Granite Start.
Being reliable and positive!
Requirements
Minimum of 9 ECE Credits
Full Time Employment
Experience with NH Early Learning Standards
Possess and maintain CPR & First Aid Certification
Work as a Team Player
Caring and Nurturing
Maintaining 18 hours of Professional Development Annually
