What You'll Do
- Implement engaging curriculum activities and encourage active participation from children.
- Manage daily classroom operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized environment.
- Build strong relationships with parents through regular updates and progress reports.
- Model and promote self-help skills and good hygiene habits among children.
- Streamline daily transitions from home to the childcare center, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
- Adhere to all center policies and state childcare regulations.
- Maintain a professional development plan to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Of good character and reputation
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to establish positive relationships with children, parents, and coworkers
- Positive, patient, and energetic demeanor
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 months of professional childcare experience
- Understanding of child development and its principles
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must pass a full background check and health screening
