Teacher's Aide for PreK Class
About This Role
Hope PDO and Preschool is seeking a teacher aide for our PreK classroom for children ages 4-5. The aide will work with an experienced teacher in the classrooms with a maximum of 10-12 students. We are looking for someone Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Our work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We follow the Cherry Creek School district holiday schedule, with breaks and summers off.
What You'll Do
Our ideal candidate will:
_ Help execute age-appropriate curriculum that engages and nurtures our students in a Christian-centered environment.
_ Work well with the teacher in the classroom, as well as with all our welcoming and talented staff.
_ Be willing to meet all our students' needs, including physical, academic and social emotional.
_ Be in good physical shape to help children throughout their day.
_ Love young children.
Duties include: facilitating outside and indoor play; helping with art, music and other curriculum; helping children during bathroom break; and helping create a loving, caring environment for all children.
Requirements
Each staff member has to complete 15 hours of continuing education each year
